The Appalachian Equality Chorus, formerly the Knoxville Gay Mens Chorus, is a chorus where everyone is welcome and able to be free to perform in a safe, welcoming environment. Every winter, they put on a holiday show based around the adventure of Marge and her sisters. This year the Queens holiday centers around rescuing Marge, as a mysterious person is terrorizing her on the North Pole. But is it a villainous figure, or will there be a holiday twist crazier than a candy cane?
For the show, Marge has a number of voice-over moments and most were supposed to sound like she was on an old phone. I had a lot of fun recording Marge and then turning her into what you hear below. Every night the V/O'S got a tremendous round of applause and laughter. This was a fun project.
